18-year-old charged with overturning port-a-potty, trapping a mom and her daughter inside

A New Hampshire man is in legal trouble following an incident where he toppled a portable toilet, trapping a woman and child inside.

According to witnesses in Manchester, the man and woman were engaged in an argument near a port-a-potty at Derryfield Park last Wednesday. When the woman, who was apparently unfamiliar with the 18-year-old man, entered the portable toilet to assist her daughter, the man forcefully pushed it over, causing it to land with the door against the pavement.

Onlookers rushed to the scene, righted the toilet, and rescued the woman and child. Both individuals reported being covered in waste and bodily fluids from the ordeal, as detailed by the police.

Thankfully, neither the woman nor the child sustained any injuries. However, the man was taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief and criminal restraint for his actions.

Additionally, he faces a charge of simple assault for hurling an object at one of the responding officers, as per the police report.

As of now, it remains unclear whether the man has legal representation.
