Adebayo Azeez, Ogun Serial Ritualist, Reveals How He Gets His Victims from a Dating App (Video)

In a disturbing disclosure, Adebayo Azeez, a prime suspect in a case involving ritual killings and human parts trafficking in Ogun State, has admitted to utilizing a dating app as a means to entice and subsequently murder women for money rituals. The 32-year-old suspect made this shocking admission during his presentation at the Ogun State Police Command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.

Azeez's apprehension followed the capture and public exhibition of seven other members of the purported ritualist syndicate on February 15, 2024. Among those paraded were two herbalists, Moses Abidemi and Oluwo Samuel Monday, as well as two individuals identified as prophets of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Prophet Peter Oluwalolese and Prophet Jamiu Yusuf. They stand accused of the brutal murder of a 35-year-old woman named Sulaimon Adijat for money rituals.

Furthermore, Akinwunmi Ifatosin, Sherifff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitouria, hailing from Uromi in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, were also displayed for their alleged involvement in the heinous crime.

During the presentation, Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu disclosed that Azeez, who had been eluding arrest, was apprehended on February 23 from his hideout. Alamutu unveiled the collaboration between Azeez and Awuraji, a herbalist, in strangulating the victims to death, following which their dismembered body parts were sold to Oluwo Monday Samuel and Alfa Ariwo (who remains at large) for ritualistic purposes.

"The three suspects admitted to the murder of ten different women at the Igbo Olomi residence of Moses Abidemi," Alamutu added.

Azeez, in recounting his modus operandi, confessed to procuring victims through the MyChat hookup app. He disclosed that he would negotiate with the victims on the app, finalize the arrangement, and provide his address in Atan-Ota. Subsequently, he would transport them to Awuraji's residence, where the gruesome act was perpetrated. Azeez acknowledged his involvement in the murder of seven women, asserting his ignorance of the ultimate intent of the group, maintaining that his role was solely to procure victims and receive compensation.
