An American Airlines passenger was forcefully removed from the plane after causing chaos by hurling an antisemitic slur at a flight attendant, as depicted in dramatic footage and a report.

The incident unfolded aboard American Airlines Flight 2506 bound for Philadelphia, originating from Tampa International Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

The disruptive passenger, dressed in a blue and white striped button-down shirt, verbally abused staff and fellow passengers, accusing them of ganging up on him as he was being escorted off the aircraft, as seen in video footage shared on social media.

The unruly passenger, wearing a blue and white striped button-down shirt, lobbed insults at staff and passengers before accusing other flyers of “teaming up” on him.

At one point, he directed an antisemitic slur at a flight attendant dealing with him, as documented in another video online.

Shouting that he was trying to reach his home country and blaming others for impeding his journey, he confronted another passenger in the aisle, wearing a blue pullover, urging him to leave as well.

The situation escalated when the unruly passenger accused the other man in blue of touching him, leading to a physical altercation. In the video, the man in blue restrained the disruptive passenger in a headlock, commanding him to stop touching anyone.

Identifying themselves as law enforcement officers, a woman in a backward hat and the man in blue continued to manage the situation, escorting the disruptive passenger to the plane's exit with assistance from another flyer with a sleeve tattoo, according to the footage.

Authorities from the Tampa International Airport Police Department arrested the disruptive passenger outside the plane at approximately 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, charging him with disorderly intoxication and two counts of battery.

American Airlines acknowledged the incident, attributing the flight delay to the disturbance caused by the disruptive passenger and expressing gratitude to their team for handling the situation professionally while apologizing to customers for any inconvenience caused.
