Ariana Grande to pay ex-husband Dalton Gomez $1.25 million as they finalize divorce

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have officially completed their divorce proceedings, with Grande reportedly agreeing to pay Gomez $1.25 million as part of their settlement. The Los Angeles Superior Court issued a judgment on Tuesday, officially ending their nearly three-year marriage, following Grande’s divorce petition six months ago.

The couple, who had been separated for over a year, had a prenuptial agreement in place and no children, leading to a swift and amicable resolution with no significant legal disputes. Their settlement terms, finalized in October, included a one-time payment of $1,250,000 to Gomez, half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home, and up to $25,000 towards his attorneys’ fees.

In her divorce petition, Grande cited irreconcilable differences, a common reason in California divorces. The couple began dating in January 2020, spent the pandemic together in quarantine, and announced their engagement in December of the same year. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in May 2021.

Ariana Grande, 30, is now in a relationship with Ethan Slater. The new couple has been seen together on multiple occasions last year, including in November when Grande attended the opening night of Spamalot to support Slater.

The “Wicked” co-stars were also spotted backstage at Gutenberg! The Musical! during the same period, and they were seen posing with the show’s stars, Andrew Rannells and Josh Gad.

In addition to her personal life, Grande recently released her seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine,” and is set to star as Glinda in the upcoming film adaptation of the musical “Wicked,” alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.
