British beauty queen dies suddenly over Easter weekend as family left 'shattered'
Friends and family are mourning the sudden death of former beauty queen Jade Leigh Hunt over the Easter weekend.
Jade, 35, who won the Miss West Lothian beauty pageant in 2012 and later Miss Galaxy Scotland, passed away suddenly on March 30, leaving her loved ones devastated.
In a heartfelt post on the family's Just Giving page, they expressed their sorrow: "On Saturday 30th March 2024, our family was shattered with the heartbreaking news of Jade's sudden passing. Jade had the purest of souls, she loved deeply, and was loved immeasurably."
The family described Jade as having "an infectious laugh and big beautiful smile that would light up any room" and highlighted her fun-loving, courageous, and adventurous nature. They also mentioned her witty sense of humor and how she left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
The family set up the fundraising page with a goal of £700 for Jade's funeral costs, a target that has already been surpassed with the total exceeding £1,100 at the time of writing.
They invited friends, family, and anyone who knew Jade to share their memories and love for her on the platform. Loved ones have left heartfelt tributes, remembering Jade as an amazing person and expressing their deep sadness at her passing.
Jade had pursued a career in teeth whitening after her time in modeling and had also worked as a support worker for adults with disabilities. Her sudden death has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
