California Woman With the World's Longest Tongue Makes People Scream as She Shows Unique Skills
Chanel Tapper, a 34-year-old California woman who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest tongue (female), has showcased several tricks she can perform with her extraordinary 3.8-inch-long tongue. Tapper, who has held the record since 2010, revealed that her unusually long tongue often garners a wide range of reactions from people.
"Honestly, the best reaction I could ever get when someone sees my tongue is screaming. I actually do like when people yell or scream in shock, or horror sometimes," she said. "But that's probably my favorite one because it's funny to me because it's a dramatic response."
Tapper has discovered creative ways to put her tongue to use, including removing Jenga blocks, flipping plastic cups, and holding a spoon. She enjoys coming up with entertaining and unconventional activities to highlight her unique feature. "I like little fun, silly things like that. That's what makes my tongue the most fun when I can do things that are outside the box with it," she said.
Holding the Guinness World Record has also opened doors for Tapper, leading to unexpected opportunities such as participating in an advertising campaign for the Italian fashion brand Diesel.
"My favorite thing about being a record holder has to be when I get to travel and meet other record holders as well," she said.
