Chilling video shows screaming woman begging for help at stranger’s house before being kidnapped

Chilling doorbell footage captured a terrified woman pleading for help at a stranger’s front door just moments before a bearded man approached and abducted her, according to police.

The disturbing video showed the woman crying out as she desperately knocked on the front door of a residence in Hillsboro, Oregon, late Sunday.

“Please help me,” she cried, her voice filled with fear as she continuously glanced behind her. Shortly after, the suspect rushed up from behind, seized the distressed woman, and forced her into a white pickup truck, as seen in the video.

Police swiftly released the footage to locate the suspect and victim. Fortunately, the woman was found unharmed, and the man—whose identity has not been disclosed—was apprehended and charged with kidnapping in the early hours of Tuesday, authorities confirmed. “The suspect and victim were acquainted with each other, and this was not a random incident. There is no threat to public safety,” police stated, though they did not elaborate on their relationship.

The homeowner who owned the doorbell camera, identified only as Marisol, told KGW8 that she did not recognize either individual. “She appeared frightened,” Marisol recounted.

“You could hear the panic in her voice, and it was clear she needed urgent assistance. The way she clung to the door in the footage, it was definitely not ordinary.”

The man caught on video was arrested and charged with kidnapping early Tuesday, cops said.
