President Bola Tinubu delivered a message urging religious leaders not to criticize Nigeria during their sermons. Speaking at a Ramadan Iftar event with traditional rulers and religious figures in Abuja on Thursday, March 28, Tinubu emphasized the importance of constructive engagement in governance.

He encouraged leaders to focus on positive actions, such as praying for the nation and educating children, rather than condemning Nigeria. Using a Yoruba proverb, Tinubu emphasized the need to support and uplift the country even when facing challenges.

Tinubu highlighted that while acknowledging leadership flaws is essential, it's crucial to utilize democratic processes like elections to effect change rather than resorting to negativity or condemnation.

He stressed the beauty of Nigeria as a nation and urged everyone to contribute positively towards its progress.
