Edo Pastor, One Other Arrested Over Gruesome Murder of Seven-Year-Old Boy

The Edo State Police Command has arrested two suspects, Pastor Ijebor Simon and Destiny Okojabhole, in connection with the brutal murder of seven-year-old Evans Okojabhole.
According to police spokesperson Moses Yamu, the boy was found with his stomach ripped open, feet severed at the ankle, and fingers cut off—just 24 hours after being reported missing in Irrua, Edo Central.
According to a statement by the state command PPRO, Moses Yamu, the incident was reported by the deceased father, John Okhojibole, in Irrua, Edo Central, noting that Evans was sighted with his stomach ripped open, his feet severed from his ankle, and some fingers cut off and dumped in the bush close to their house 24 hours after he was reported missing. The statement read, “The Command is in receipt of a case of murder reported by one John Okhojibole of the Jehovah Witness Road, off Elebesunu Street in Irrua.
In a separate incident, three individuals were also arrested over the killing of a vigilante commander, Victor Ogedengbe, allegedly by suspected herdsmen in Owan East LGA. The police have vowed to intensify security measures and ensure justice for the victims.
