Four ‘one chance’ operators arrested for allegedly withdrawing N1.4 million from their victim’s account in Lagos
Policemen from the Ilasan Division of the Lagos State Police Command have apprehended four suspects—Micheal Adeyeye, Biodun Iyiola, Adeleye Dotun, and Habeeb Azeez—allegedly involved in withdrawing N1.4 million from a victim's account during a one-chance robbery in the state.
According to a statement released by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Wednesday via his X handle, the arrests were made after discreetly investigating a complaint filed by a victim.
Hundeyin's statement read: "Detectives from Ilasan Division have apprehended Habeeb Azeez (29 years old), Micheal Adeyeye (26 years old), Biodun Iyiola (46 years old), and Adeleye Dotun (27 years old) in Ijora-Badia following an undercover investigation into a complaint made by a victim regarding the suspects' withdrawal of N1.4 million from her account during a one-chance robbery at Ilasan.
"PS: Why aren't their faces concealed? This is because they have already given confessional statements. Additionally, this will aid other victims in identifying them."
