A chilling video captured two gunmen armed with Kalashnikov-style rifles opening fire at a crowded Belgian train station before fleeing underground, authorities reported.
The masked suspects, who remain at large, unleashed a hail of gunfire at the entrance of the Clémenceau station in Brussels around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Surveillance footage showed the gunmen—dressed in hooded sweatshirts—emerging from a set of escalators before suddenly opening fire with the assault rifles.

Miraculously, despite the barrage of bullets, no injuries were reported, according to police. The video didn’t immediately reveal who the gunmen were targeting. After the attack, the suspects fled back underground, prompting authorities to shut down two major metro lines for hours as a manhunt ensued.
“We are looking for several suspects. It is a small group, possibly two or three people,” said a spokesperson for the Brussels South Local Police Service. “They are possibly still armed, and we don’t want to take any unnecessary risks.”
