Horrific Details Emerge in Case of Polish Woman Held as Sex Slave for Four Years

Newly revealed details from medical reports have shed light on the horrific suffering endured by a woman allegedly held captive and tortured for four years by Mateusz Jach, a man now being compared to Austria's notorious Josef Fritzl.

The woman, identified only as Malgorzata, was reportedly kept as a sex slave in a barn in the village of Glogow, west Poland. Her injuries, which include the loss of her lips and teeth, were discovered when she sought treatment at a hospital for a dislocated shoulder. Doctors immediately raised the alarm after learning of her extensive abuse.

Malgorzata, who is in her thirties, told doctors and fellow patients that she had been repeatedly raped, beaten, and tortured during her captivity. She described how Jach, 35, subjected her to "experiments" in the barn where she was confined. Medical staff found her body covered in scars, and her face severely mutilated, with an "open hole" where her lips had once been.

Despite her numerous hospital visits over the years—once to give birth to a child in 2021—Malgorzata had been too terrified to disclose her situation. The child was reportedly given up for adoption, against her wishes.

After confiding in other patients, Malgorzata's ordeal was reported to authorities, leading to Jach’s arrest. He now faces charges of mental, physical, and sexual abuse and is being held in Glogow prison while the investigation continues.

Neighbors expressed shock at the revelations, despite living close to the barn where Malgorzata was held. Jach's parents, who lived on the same property, denied knowing about the woman’s captivity, with his mother insisting that she "never thought anyone was there."

The barn, where Malgorzata was kept, was reportedly insulated and soundproofed, making it nearly impossible for neighbors to hear any noise. Despite the proximity of Jach's parents' home and other residences, the abuse went undetected for years.

Jach now faces up to 25 years in prison for his crimes, which have drawn comparisons to Josef Fritzl, who held his daughter captive for 24 years in Austria, fathering several children with her during that time.
