Intruder tries to break into Drake’s house before being tackled a day after shooting hospitalized star’s security guard

A man has been arrested after trying to break into his Toronto house and fighting with the rapper's security guards

An intruder attempted to break into Drake's Toronto mansion on Wednesday afternoon and clashed with security guards before being apprehended. The Toronto Police Service confirmed the incident in The Bridle Path neighborhood. The individual was detained under the Mental Health Act due to concerns about their behavior.

Just the day before, one of Drake's security guards was shot near the rapper's mansion, sustaining serious injuries. The shooting appears to have been a drive-by attack based on initial evidence.

Drake, also known as Aubrey Graham, and his team are cooperating with the investigation, although it's uncertain if he was present during the incidents.

The attempted break-in comes the day after another of Drake's security guards was hospitalized by a drive-by shooting at the property

Drake's home, known as The Embassy, was featured in Kendrick Lamar's single cover art, adding to the ongoing feud between the two artists. Lamar released a diss track, prompting Drake's response denying the allegations and hinting at further tracks from Lamar.

Despite their feud, there's no evidence linking it to the recent incidents at Drake's residence.

The Bridle Path, often called Millionaires Row, is Canada's wealthiest neighborhood where Drake's mansion, estimated at $100 million, is located.
