Kentucky woman goes on shooting rampage, kills husband, sister before dying in shootout with brother

Angela Gosser is accused of killing her husband and sister in a shooting rampage in Kentucky.

A Kentucky woman, Angela Gosser, embarked on a violent shooting spree, killing her husband and sister before being fatally shot by her brother in a subsequent shootout, as reported by police.

Angela, 56, allegedly drove to her brother Darryl Wilson's residence in Jamestown on May 3 armed with a gun, forcing her way inside. A confrontation ensued, resulting in a shootout between the siblings that left Angela dead and Darryl critically injured.

Gosser’s husband, Larry Gosser, was also found shot and killed on Friday evening.

The gravity of Angela's actions came to light when authorities responded to a welfare check at her sister Jennifer Wilson's home. Concerned family members had been unable to contact Jennifer. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Jennifer Wilson dead from gunshot wounds inside a Toyota Camry.

Police believe Angela shot Jennifer through the car's passenger side before her encounter with Darryl. Additionally, Angela's husband, Larry Gosser, was found shot and killed on their property in Pulaski County.

Jennifer Wilson was found dead sitting in the driver's seat of a Toyota Camry.

Larry Gosser, a retired Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife sergeant known for his love of outdoors and family, was attacked while working on a tree on his property.

Motive for Angela's violent actions remains unclear, as investigators continue to probe the tragic events. Efforts to reach the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office for further details were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.

Larry Gosser was working on a tree on his property in western Pulaski County when his wife opened fire on him, according to a report.
