Man kills friend over N3m job scam in Kano
The Kano State Police Command recently arrested Sadiq Zubairu for the murder of his friend, Bello Adam, over a failed promise to secure a job after receiving N3 million. Zubairu had pledged to assist Adam in getting a job at the Federal Inland Revenue Service but failed to deliver.
According to a family source disclosed by security analyst @ZagazOlaMakama, Zubairu invited Adam to his home, where he tied him up and fatally assaulted him with sticks and sharp objects. Adam's body was later discovered near Bechi Village, leading to Zubairu's arrest the next day.
In Zubairu's confession to the police, he admitted deceiving Adam for the money and, unable to repay it, orchestrated the murder with accomplices, hiding Adam's body in his car's boot and later disposing of it.
The police recovered the vehicle and Zubairu is in custody, facing charges related to the murder and fraud.
