Meghan Markle, Prince Harry all smiles in Nigeria after secretly reuniting at London’s Heathrow Airport

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have arrived in Nigeria.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reunited secretly at London’s Heathrow Airport before flying to Nigeria together on Thursday. Meghan had faced criticism for not joining Harry on his trip to the UK to celebrate the Invictus Games' 10th anniversary.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex secretly reunited at London's Heathrow Airport before boarding a flight to Nigeria together on Thursday.

Harry arrived in London on Tuesday but left for the airport two days later. Meghan, flying solo from Los Angeles, met him at Heathrow's VIP Windsor Suite before they boarded a British Airways flight to Abuja, Nigeria, invited by the country’s chief of defense staff.

The Sussexes landed in Nigeria Friday morning, and were reportedly first to be escorted off the aircraft.

Their flight experienced a delay due to the pilot falling ill. Upon landing in Nigeria, they were the first to be escorted off the plane and greeted by officials. They visited children at the Lights Academy in Abuja and had engagements with General Christopher Musa, Chief of Defense Staff.

They were accompanied by the security team that looked after Harry during his London trip this week.

Meghan wore a peach maxi dress and gold jewelry, while Harry sported a light-wash linen shirt and khaki pants. They also visited injured service members at a military hospital.

The pair were each gifted a traditional wooden beaded necklace before being greeted by cheering crowds.

Their schedule in Nigeria includes attending events with "Nigeria: Unconquered" and co-hosting an event on Women in Leadership with Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organization.

Harry and Meghan's first official engagement was held by General Christopher Musa, Chief of Defense Staff.

They will also participate in a basketball clinic with Giants of Africa and attend a polo fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.
