More body parts including torso and arm wash up on Wisconsin shore believed to be 19-year-old girl 'murdered and hacked up by her date'
More human remains, including a torso and an arm, suspected to belong to a missing woman believed murdered after a first date, have washed up along the Wisconsin shore.
Sade Robinson, 19, disappeared earlier this month following a date with Maxwell Anderson, 33, a bartender formerly employed in his father's insurance companies.
Since her disappearance, authorities have found several body parts scattered across Milwaukee, along with her burned Honda Civic.
The latest discovery, an arm and torso, were found along a secluded stretch of beach on Thursday, as per the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
The remains were found around 7:30 am by a citizen walking on the South Milwaukee beach, the office stated in a news release.
Anderson faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. He's held on a $5 million bond, with a preliminary examination set for Monday.
Anderson, from Milwaukee, was apprehended on April 4, shortly after a leg believed to be Robinson's was found at Warnimont Park along Lake Michigan in Cudahy. The leg had been severed below the hip.
Robinson was reported missing on April 2 by a friend. A building employee where she lived informed police that she was enthusiastic about her planned date on April 1.
Surveillance footage showed Robinson and Anderson at a restaurant bar on April 1. Her car was discovered burned the next day.
Anderson's father, Steven Anderson, expressed condolences to Robinson's family before the latest discovery of remains was made public, stating his family was "shocked and devastated by her senseless death."
Anthony Cotton, Anderson's legal representative, asserted his client's innocence and pledged to vigorously defend him in court.
Anderson, known for his long hair, reportedly took Robinson, 14 years younger, on a date to a seafood restaurant where he used to work.
Robinson, a college student, was reported missing when she failed to show up for her job at a pizza shop the day after their date.
The day after her disappearance, her burned car was found. Investigators also discovered pieces of her clothing and a charred phone at the scene.
Further remains were discovered in Milwaukee days later, including a human foot and apparent human flesh.
Phone records led detectives to Anderson, showing communication about their seafood date. Surveillance footage also captured them dining at the restaurant before heading to Anderson's home and eventually the park where the leg was found.
Detectives found blood at Anderson's residence and multiple gasoline canisters in the basement. He was arrested during a traffic stop.
Authorities continue to investigate a motive for the alleged murder, and the rest of Robinson's remains remain missing.
Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Ian Vance-Curzan described Anderson's efforts to conceal evidence as "tremendous," alleging he intentionally killed and dismembered Robinson.
Robinson was set to graduate from Milwaukee Area Technical College and pursue a career in criminal justice.
Anderson, previously employed at his father's insurance firms, also described himself as a bartender on social media.
Friends and former acquaintances have described Anderson as erratic and prone to anger outbursts, with a criminal history including convictions for drunk driving, disorderly conduct, domestic abuse, and other charges.
Tributes for Robinson have poured in, describing her as a loving daughter, cherished sister, and dear friend, with her mother expressing profound grief at the loss of her vibrant and admired daughter.
