Mum, 27, was ‘stabbed in the neck pushing her pram’ as police launch manhunt for suspect
Police are searching for a suspect following the fatal stabbing of a 27-year-old woman in Bradford's busy city center. The incident occurred in broad daylight on Saturday afternoon while the victim was pushing a pram, leaving her baby boy orphaned.
The suspect, identified as Habibur Masum, 25, is being sought after fleeing the scene in Bradford. He is described as an Asian man of slim build and has links to the Burnley and Chester areas.
Witnesses reported seeing Masum wearing distinctive clothing, including a duffle coat with three large horizontal lines and light blue or grey tracksuit bottoms with a small black emblem on the left pocket. He may also have been wearing a grey hoody with the hood up.
DCI Stacey Atkinson described the incident as shocking and urged anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to come forward to assist in the investigation. The victim's family has been informed and is receiving support from authorities.
