During the live stream, Obidi shared her distressing experience with her audience, emphasizing the serious escalation of online hate into physical violence. She is currently en route to the hospital in an ambulance, and her ordeal has raised significant concerns about her safety.

In videos from the incident, Obidi is seen addressing the burning sensation on her face caused by the acid attack. She uses a bottle of Coca-Cola to wash her face, believing it can neutralize the acid. Additionally, footage shows medical personnel administering treatment, spraying her back and drenching her face with a liquid substance.
