A family of four, including two young children, was tragically found dead inside their burning home in Irondequoit, New York, on Saturday morning. However, authorities have ruled their deaths as homicides, indicating they were killed before the fire.

Fraime Ubaldo, 30, his partner Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, and their children, Evangeline, 4, and Sebastian, 2, were discovered by firefighters responding to reports of a house fire. The blaze, which appeared to have been intentionally set in multiple areas, was likely an attempt to destroy evidence.

Irondequoit Fire Chief Shane Metcalf confirmed that the fire is under investigation, while Police Chief Scott Peters vowed to bring those responsible to justice. Despite knowing the cause of death, authorities have not yet released that information to the public, but they have confirmed the injuries were inconsistent with a typical fire.

“This was a horrific scene,” Peters said, expressing his determination to solve the case. He emphasized that the family's deaths have deeply affected the community, describing the victims as "wonderful people" and stating that the crime was not a random act.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, with police working tirelessly to uncover the motive and identify the suspects involved in this brutal crime.
