Newlywed bride drowns in a swimming pool during her wedding bash which was also a joint birthday party for her daughter

Hours before tragedy struck, Elisangela had posted a photo on social media, showing her signing paperwork in a white wedding dress

A heartbreaking incident unfolded at a wedding celebration in Brazil, where a newlywed bride tragically lost her life just hours after exchanging vows with her fiancé.

The tragedy occurred on Sunday afternoon at a property in Limeira, São Paulo, where Elisangela Gazano, 38, fell into a swimming pool at a rented country house during the wedding bash. The gathering not only marked Gazano's recent marriage but also her daughter's birthday.

Reports indicate that Gazano, who was not a swimmer, accidentally slipped and fell into the water while dancing near the pool's edge. Despite efforts from guests to rescue her and the prompt arrival of emergency services, Gazano went into cardiac arrest during transportation to the hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Just hours before the tragic incident, Gazano had shared a photo on social media, capturing a moment of signing paperwork in her white wedding dress alongside her partner.

A close friend, Flavia Silva, expressed her grief in a heartfelt social media message, reminiscing about Gazano's infectious joy and laughter. The community mourns her loss, and her funeral is scheduled for this afternoon.

Limeira police categorized Gazano's death as an accident, marking a somber moment during what should have been a joyous celebration.

In a poignant parallel, another tragic incident emerged where a man in Australia faces trial for the death of his wife, who passed away in a golf buggy accident. These sobering events serve as reminders of life's unpredictability and the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones.
