Nigerian rapper 3GAR Baby has spoken out after surviving a devastating crash involving his McLaren in Sea Point, Cape Town, on Saturday, March 1.
The high-speed accident, caught on camera, shows the R3 million McLaren 570S Coupe racing through a residential area before losing control and crashing. A viral video circulating online captures the moment of impact, followed by images of the rapper sitting in the middle of the road, blood dripping from his face.
Taking to Instagram Stories, 3GAR Baby confirmed he was behind the wheel, sharing a selfie from what appears to be a medical facility.
“Nah, small thing remain. Could've been all over! I can’t stop thanking God for life,” he wrote.
According to Arrive Alive, emergency services arrived in the early hours of Saturday morning and found two injured individuals—3GAR Baby and a passenger—both sustaining moderate injuries.
Prior to the crash, several TikTok videos showed the rapper flaunting the same white McLaren, which was completely wrecked in the accident.
While fans expressed relief over his survival, many on social media criticized reckless driving, especially in residential areas.
The rapper has yet to reveal full details of the accident, but his gratitude for being alive is clear.
