NY mom crushed by tree during vicious rainstorm ID’d as wife of Yankees exec: sources

The Westchester County woman tragically killed during Wednesday night’s severe rainstorm has been identified as Catherine Tusiani, the wife of a Yankees executive.


Catherine Tusiani, 50, lost her life when a tree crashed into her vehicle while she was traveling northbound on Route 128 in Armonk, according to law enforcement sources.


Tusiani, 50, was killed when a tree struck her vehicle while she was traveling northbound on Route 128 in Armonk, law enforcement sources said.

At the time of the accident, she was the sole occupant of the vehicle, as previously reported by the North Castle Police Department.


Her husband, Michael J Tusiani, holds the position of senior vice president of partnership for the New York Yankees, as listed on the team’s website.


The couple also has two daughters, one of whom is pursuing studies in public relations at Boston University, as indicated on her LinkedIn profile.
