Pizza Hut worker kills manager over inheritance check, then puts body in trash
A Wisconsin man stands accused of the murder of his manager over a $7,000 inheritance check, as reported by news outlets.
On February 7, a body was found in a trash bin behind a Milwaukee Pizza Hut by a garbage truck driver, as per WISN, citing police sources.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Alexander Stengel, a resident of Cudahy and the manager of the Pizza Hut location, according to the Milwaukee medical examiner as reported by the station.
Police responding to the scene found a trail of blood leading from the Pizza Hut kitchen to a dumpster area behind the restaurant, as reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Stengel's death was determined to be a homicide after medical examiners discovered he had suffered a gunshot wound to the head and puncture wounds to the neck, according to WISN.
Kavonn Ingram, a 31-year-old resident of Milwaukee and an employee at Pizza Hut, was arrested on February 11 in connection with the crime, according to WTMJ.
Ingram was formally charged on February 16, according to records from the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
