Police rescue 8-year-old girl crying for her mother during apartment fire: video




Nevada authorities recently released bodycam footage showing their officers rescuing a distressed young girl from an apartment fire last month. The Henderson Police Department shared this video, captured on Mar. 10, on Facebook last week.


Upon receiving reports of a child and mother trapped in the apartment, officers arrived to find shattered windows, smoke, and flames emanating from within. Acting swiftly, the officers braved the dangers and successfully rescued an 8-year-old girl along with two dogs, with no one else found inside.


The bodycam footage captures the tense moments as officers shout to ensure no one else is inside before entering the smoke-filled apartment. They quickly locate the child and coax her to safety, reassuring her and promising to rescue her mother.
