QAnon-aligned son decapitates dad, shows off ‘traitor’s’ head in sick YouTube video
A Levittown man, identified as Justin Mohn, has been charged with homicide after police say he beheaded his father and posted a gruesome video online. The video showed the severed head of his father, Michael Mohn, while Justin ranted about killing federal government employees.
Justin Mohn, described as the youngest son of the victim, was taken into custody 100 miles away from the Upper Orchard Drive home where officers found his father's decapitated body on Tuesday. He was arraigned on murder charges at midnight and brought back to Bucks County, according to Middletown Police Lt. Pete Feeney.
According to court documents, Justin Mohn used a machete and a large kitchen knife, both found in a bathtub in the home by the police. The victim's head was discovered wrapped in plastic in a large cooking pot. The cause of death was not released as the investigation continued.
Feeney mentioned that police are still working on establishing a timeline of events, and it is unclear why Mohn, 32, fled to Fort Indiantown Gap, a large National Guard Training Center.
Mohn has also been charged with possession of an instrument of crime and abuse of a corpse. Additional charges may be filed later. He is currently held in Bucks County Jail.
Police were called to the Jubilee-style house around 7 p.m. Tuesday after Justin Mohn's mother, Denice, returned home and discovered her husband's body. The screams prompted a neighbor to call the police.
Chief Joseph Bartorilla of the Middletown Police Department said, "We got called to the home, and officers went in and discovered the father deceased."
On Wednesday morning, police confirmed that Michael Mohn, 68, was beheaded, as Justin had claimed in a YouTube video posted the day before. In the video, Justin holds up the decapitated head wrapped in plastic, identifying his father as a federal employee of over 20 years and describing him as a "traitor" in his violent, anti-government rant.
Authorities later confirmed Michael Mohn's federal employment but did not immediately disclose his place of work. Additionally, a machete was found in the bathtub of the Levittown home where the beheading took place.
