Robert De Niro, 80, and girlfriend Tiffany Chen, 45, pack on the PDA at White House state dinner

Love was in the air for Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen as they attended the state dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden to honor Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Wednesday evening.

The 80-year-old actor and his 45-year-old girlfriend were spotted holding hands, exuding elegance and style at the lavish event in Washington, D.C.

De Niro looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo, complemented by Chen's stunning strapless, white floor-length gown. She added a touch of warmth with a beige shawl adorned with black trim, along with black pumps and a matching clutch.

The couple appeared to be in high spirits as they mingled with top politicians and business leaders like Apple CEO Tim Cook, NASA administrator Bill Nelson, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos before heading inside the event.

Their glamorous date night came shortly after celebrating their baby girl's first birthday on Saturday. De Niro, who has been with Chen since 2021, shared the joyous news of their daughter's birth in May of the previous year, keeping their pregnancy private until then.

During a rare comment about baby Gia in a February interview with People, De Niro described her as "such an adorable baby," adding that she brings joy to their family, including the grandkids.

De Niro has a large family, with six other children from previous relationships. He had daughter Drena, 52, and son Raphael, 47, during his first marriage to actress Diahnne Abbott. With actress Toukie Smith, he welcomed twins Julian and Aaron, now 28. From his marriage to Grace Hightower, he had a son Elliot, 26, and daughter Helen Grace, 12, before their separation in 2018, which was followed by legal disputes over finances.
