Schoolgirl 'Bully', 14, Knocked out by Boy, 14, after She Attacked Him with Bottle (Video)

A 14-year-old student was knocked unconscious after an altercation with a fellow student at Jehue Middle School in San Bernardino, California, on March 13. The incident began when the girl allegedly threw a metal bottle at the boy multiple times. Footage capturing part of the altercation shows the boy restraining the girl before releasing her. She then grabbed a laptop and threw it at him. In response, he grabbed her and slammed her head-first into a table, knocking her unconscious.
Following the incident, the girl collapsed to the floor as another student attempted to assist her. Bystanders reacted, with one exclaiming, "she's knocked out, bro." The boy then picked up his glasses, smiled, and walked away. Authorities have classified the girl as the aggressor and the boy as the victim. The girl faces a felony assault charge, while the boy has been charged with misdemeanor battery.
Community activists have contested the classification, arguing that the boy was the aggressor and calling for his expulsion. They held a press conference outside the school, demanding his arrest and asserting that the girl was the true victim. Social justice advocate Najee Ali stated that what happened to the girl was unacceptable and called for the boy’s expulsion. Pastor Samuel Casey urged authorities to rescind the citations, particularly for the girl.
According to Colton Police Sgt. Mike Sandoval, the two students had no prior history of conflict, and there is no evidence that the altercation was racially motivated. Both students were released after being charged and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The Rialto Unified School District has initiated an investigation into the incident and confirmed that action has been taken against the substitute teacher who was present during the fight. A district spokesperson stated that the school acted promptly by contacting the students' parents and providing medical assistance. Jehue Middle School has approximately 1,460 students, with 91% identifying as Latino, 4.6% as Black, and 1.9% as White.
