Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ex Cassie cooperating with federal investigators amid sex trafficking probe

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex Cassie has reportedly been cooperating with investigators amid a federal sex trafficking investigation into the rapper.

Casandra Ventura-Fine, also known as Cassie, is reportedly cooperating with federal agents who are investigating Sean "Diddy" Combs following the recent raids on his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

According to reports, the "Me & U" singer is among the witnesses who have been in contact with authorities and may have been collaborating with them for "several weeks."

While it's speculated that Cassie may have provided testimony leading to the searches of Diddy's properties, this has not been confirmed officially.

Federal agents moved in to seize Combs’ phones and computers in LA and Miami as part of the federal investigation.

Cassie initiated a significant turn of events in Diddy's situation back in November 2023 when she filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of rape, sex trafficking, battery, and other offenses.

In a statement, Cassie expressed, “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

The pair had dated for a decade until their breakup in 2018.

She detailed a disturbing pattern of control and abuse allegedly inflicted by Diddy from the early stages of their relationship in 2005. The lawsuit claimed that he manipulated her, used drugs like ecstasy and ketamine to assault her, and coerced her into intimate acts with other individuals while he observed, recorded, and engaged in explicit behaviors. Their relationship reportedly ended in 2018 following an alleged incident of sexual assault.

A source close to Cassie revealed that she now feels supported and no longer isolated, stating, “Cassie has seen the worst of Diddy and he has put her through the most traumatic abuse. She isn’t able to speak about the things she has seen during their relationship, but it was very dark.”

Initially, Cassie was not the only potential witness prepared to testify against Diddy. Ethiopia Habtemariam, former CEO of Motown, was also mentioned but later denied any involvement or knowledge of alleged wrongdoing by Mr. Combs.

Habtemariam clarified in a statement, “I have no personal knowledge of any alleged wrongdoing by Mr. Combs, and there is nothing I could testify to that would be against his interest… In short, there is no basis for any of the claims asserted against me, and I should never have been named a defendant in this lawsuit.” She was mentioned in the lawsuit along with Justin Combs and others by producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones.
