Tracy Morgan's courtside presence at Madison Square Garden took an unexpected turn Monday night when the comedian experienced a medical emergency, causing a delay in the New York Knicks game against the Miami Heat.

During the first half of the game, Morgan suddenly became ill and vomited near his feet, with some of the contents reaching the playing area. The incident led to an immediate stoppage in play as medical personnel rushed to assist him. The 56-year-old, visibly distressed and holding a towel to his face, was placed in a wheelchair and escorted out of the arena. Spectators reported seeing blood coming from his nose as he exited.

The game, which ended in a 116-95 victory for the Knicks, was delayed for approximately 10 minutes in the third quarter due to Morgan’s medical episode.

Morgan has a history of health challenges, including diabetes and a kidney transplant in 2010. In 2014, he survived a severe car accident when a Walmart truck collided with his limousine on the New Jersey Turnpike. The crash left him in a coma for two weeks, with a broken leg and significant injuries, while also claiming the life of his mentor, James McNair. Morgan spent months in a wheelchair and underwent extensive rehabilitation to regain his ability to walk and speak.

Reflecting on the accident years later, Morgan expressed his love for those involved and extended forgiveness to the driver responsible.
