A woman has been caught in a testimony scam after being spotted selling soft drinks in a small shop, months after she testified in church that she had purchased a mansion.

She was seen eating abacha while attending to a customer, who recognized her from a viral testimony video at Ebuka Obi's Zion Ministry. When confronted, she was unable to deny it and quickly exited her shop to join her friends on the street.

The man who filmed the encounter accused her of owing him money despite claiming to have bought a mansion. He also alleged that her friends were involved in orchestrating fake testimonies.

"See Ebuka Obi’s people here. See them. Thieves. Look at the person who claimed to have bought a mansion—see where she is selling things," he said while recording.

Months earlier, the woman had testified in Zion Ministry, where a video of a mansion was displayed, and Ebuka Obi used her as a point of contact to pray for his congregation.

During the service, Ebuka Obi had declared: "This is a mansion, built by a young lady. Women, what are you waiting for? Boys, what are you waiting for? Did anyone tie you? Lose yourself."
