Woman roasted and ate homeless man's heart and penis after killing him

A 65-year-old homeless woman, Josefa Lima de Sousa, was arrested along with her partner, Robson Aparecido de Oliveira, 41, for the murder and mutilation of Celso Marques Ferreira, 60, in Peruíbe, São Paulo. The crime occurred on Friday, March 7, and involved acts of cannibalism.
The victim, also homeless, was discovered in the Beira Mar neighborhood with his body mutilated. His neck was decapitated, his chest was cut open, and his genitalia were removed. Several knife wounds were found on his chest and shoulder. Next to the body, authorities found a note reading, "rapist catches Gringa."

Investigators linked the note to Josefa, who was known among the homeless community as "Gringa." She and her partner were located and taken into custody. Witnesses informed police that Robson had previously threatened the victim a week before the murder.
During questioning, Josefa admitted to the crime, stating that she lived on the streets due to alcohol and drug addiction. Without providing evidence, she claimed to have heard allegations that the victim had committed sexual offenses and said he had expressed a belief that he "deserved to die."

According to her confession, she used an improvised knife to kill Celso, extracted his heart and genitals, roasted them, and consumed them. The crime took place around 2 a.m.
Josefa and Robson were arrested on charges of qualified homicide by cruel means. Robson denied involvement. Authorities are also investigating a third suspect, Rodrigo Aparecido Anselmo Freire, known as "Negão," who has not yet been located. Three other homeless individuals are also under investigation.
